The remaining $17,500, plus escrow fees, shipping, and applicable taxes, is required through escrow before the evaluation begins, and is not released to us during it.

Keep it and the escrowed balance is released to us. Return it in good working condition and the $17,500 (plus any taxes paid) is released back to you — escrow fees and shipping aren't refunded. The $2,000 evaluation activation fee is non-refundable.
